Jake delighted to join strong ACE squad
JAKE Keslake has made a short trip south to sign for Albany Creek Excelsior (ACE).
The central defender was a regular with North Pine in last season’s Flight Centre Premier League. But in 2017 he will wear the red and black of ACE.
“I think the BPL’s a good standard and I want to give it a good shot against the best players in Brisbane and Queensland,” said Keslake.
“It seems like (ACE has) a good, strong squad that’s improving and challenging – and it’s a good time to be here.”
Keslake will bring defensive composure, aerial power and strength to the ACE back line. The 24 year old said he’s also hoping to add a “few clean sheets”.
