Attention, fitness buffs! This month is for you. Albany Creek will play host to different health and fitness events this October. If you like putting your fitness level to the test, then grab your fitness mats. Here are the activities you should watch out for.

Wednesdays are girl power days! Ladies, if you want to move your bodies but you don’t know how to start, you might find this class helpful. Every Wednesday, there is a Cardio and Strength Training session for beginners. This is a great opportunity to work out at your own fitness level and become more fit and more toned.

8-Week Your Best Body ChallengeTickets: $30 Time: 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Venue: Lemke Park |
Anytime Fitness Albany Creek will be hosting the 8-Week Your Best Body Challenge. Every year, Anytime Fitness hosts this event to help the Albany Creek community make a positive difference to their health and fitness. The challenge starts on Saturday, the 7th of October, and will kick off every Saturday for eight weeks.
Anytime Fitness will pick three winners that will be selected based on the biggest transformation shown in their “before and after” photos.
All of the proceeds will go to the Sanfilippo Children’s Foundation. The foundation is progressing research for the cure for the Sanfilippo Syndrome. It is a metabolism disorder that makes the body unable to break down long chains of sugar molecules.

Intofitness proudly brings “Spring into Fitness” to the Albany Creek community. Spring into Fitness is a family-friendly event that features interactive health and fitness demonstrations. The whole family can indulge into group fitness session, yoga, meditation, and a Thermomix Cooking Class.
Every paying adult will receive a VIP Goodie Bag. Lucky Door prizes can also be won on the day. BYO picnic.

Stretch & Relaxation ClassTickets:
Time: 3:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Venue: Albany Creek Uniting Church |
Revival Pilates invites the Albany Creek community to relax and stretch. This class is neither pure pilates nor pure yoga. In this hybrid class, participants will undergo several stretching sequences that will help calm the nervous system and lengthen tight muscles.
Book early due to limited spots. BYO mat, pillow, and towels.
