Why Hart Sport jumped at chance to back our teams
ONE name appears ain every ACE and Moreton Bay United, is first on to the pitch and always the last off.
It is Hart Sport – the major sponsor of both our senior teams this season – which is emblazoned on the front of the team shirts.
Hart Sport is a national sport and leisure company, based in Aspley, which sponsors A-League, NRL and AFL teams.
But it also has strong local connections, such as owner Greg Harten who may live closer to Wolter Park than any other supporter, player or official!
“Yes, we’re a national company,” said Mr Harten, “but we like to look after the local area so we jump at opportunities to be involved with local clubs.
“ACE and Moreton Bay are both (sporting) institutes in this whole area, so we’re more than happy to be involved.
“When Tony (Dooley) asked us to come on board we

Cup now best opportunity for success this season – coach Pouria Nabi
CUP football is back at Wolter Park tomorrow night – this time it’s ACE in action.
The Canale Cup is down to the quarter-finals with ACE taking on BPL rivals Easts, kick-off 7.30pm.
After last week’s Premier League defeat at Mitchelton, focus on the Canale Cup has sharpened for coach Pouria Nabi and his squad.
ACE have already beaten Easts (1-0) at Wolter Park this season in the Premier League and drawn (1-1) in the return at Heath Park.
“The cup is probably the best chance now for ACE to enjoy this season,” said Pouria.
“We have an opportunity to go further in this competition, but we need to get the job done.”
And the “responsibility” for that rests with the coach. “As head coach I take the whole responsibility for the ACE results,” said Pouria. “That is my responsibility.
“In terms of team performance, in some

Three cup finals
ACE need maximum points, says coach Pouria Nabi
THE equation is simple, according to coach Pouria Nabi.
ACE, in sixth place, need three wins from their last three Premier League games to keep their play-off dream alive.
It’s a tough challenge against three sides above them, starting with a trip to fifth-placed Mitchelton on Saturday, kick-off 6pm.
Mitchelton, who have played one game less than ACE, snatched a 2-2 draw with a goal four minutes into injury time at Wolter Park last month.
Leaders Rochedale visit Wolter Park on August 12, kick-off 5pm and the final match is a trip to Souths, currently fourth, on August 19, kick-off 7pm.
ACE, Mitchelton and Souths are all on 29 points, Lions have 33, Peninsula Power 34 and leaders Rochedale 36.
“We are trying to encourage the boys to think of this as three cup finals,” said Pouria, “every single game is a cup final. A draw may not be

Training Changes 3/7 – 21/7 updated 17-7-17
Hi all,
As Wolter Park is closed for the next three weeks 3/7-21/7 for council to do some maintenance, we have had to shuffle training around a little to accommodate the teams who normally train there.
Please find attached the altered training schedule that applies from today Monday 3/7/17 to Friday 21/7/17.
Please find amended schedule HERE. updated 17-7-17
PLEASE NOTE: There is an individual schedule for each of the next three weeks. Please ensure that you check the schedule thoroughly. I have made every effort to keep training times the same, but there have been a couple of exceptions.
Please ensure that your players are aware of the changes.
Regards,
Stephen Bryant
