New team driving women’s and girls’ football at ACE is aiming for the top
THERE’S a new team driving women’s and girls’ football at ACE.
Greg Bradley, pictured left, is now Director of Women’s Football at ACE, working closely with Matt van Daalen, pictured right, coach of the ACE senior women’s team.
They are currently running free coaching sessions on Thursday nights at South Pine Sports Complex, Brendale for girls and women from Under 12 to Seniors.
The first session was popular with dozens of players turning up. Under 12-14 runs from 5.30-7pm and Under 15-Opens from 7-8.30pm
Greg will coach the ACE Under 13 girls’ team next season, Matt will be in charge of the ACE seniors and the under 12s.
“We want to promote girls’ and women’s football and help the emerging talent we are seeing,” said Greg, who is also the ACE Senior Vice-President.
