Former international Steve Glockner takes over the coaching reins at ACE
ACE has a new head coach – Steve Glockner, pictured, right). 
The former Australian international was appointed this week, replacing Pouria Nabi, who has joined Moreton Bay United (MBU).
Glockner, who played for the young Socceroos at the 1983 Youth World Cup in Mexico, was coach at Easts in the Brisbane Premier League last season.
But said he knew joining ACE was an opportunity “too good to refuse”.
“I am looking forward to the new challenge of coaching at ACE in 2018 and continuing the philosophy that Pouria has developed over the last three years,” he said.
“I was very happy to be approached by Pouria with regard to the position and I knew instantly that it was an opportunity too good to refuse.
