Anything can happen

ACE determined to put on a good show says Thomson
THE odds may be against ACE, but there will be no let-up on Saturday, says midfielder Darren Thomson.
Leaders Rochedale visit Wolter Park, kick-off 5pm, in the penultimate Premier League round with ACE in sixth, three points and two places adrift of the play-offs.
Even victory may not be enough for Pouria Nabi’s men if fourth-placed Mitchelton beat Easts at Teralba Park.
But Thomson said: “We want to win this game. Even at the end of the season everyone’s still determined.
“Yes, we need other results to go our way and there are only two rounds left, but in football anything can happen.
“And don’t forget the Canale Cup. Everyone’s competing for places in the team for the semi-final.”
The 4-0 loss at Rochedale in their first meeting is still ACE’s heaviest defeat of the season and one the squad hope to avenge in their final home
